The Best Raw Granola Bars


Dry Ingredients:
3 cups gluten free raw rolled oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 cup pieces raw cashews
1/2 cup raw cacao nibs
 
Wet Ingredients:
5 large Dates
3/4 cup raw nut butter (of your choice)
1/4 cup raw coconut butter, softened
1/4-1/2 cup raw honey (for desired sweetness)
Pinch of raw vanilla bean powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
 

Step 1: Soak overnight 12-24 hours: 3 cups of oats, 6 cups of water and 3 Tbsp raw apple cider vinegar. (This helps your tummy! For easier digestion of the oats) You can skip this step, however we recommend it!

Step 2: Blend dry ingredients in a bowl, set aside. Blend wet ingredients in food processor. Then, mix wet and dry together in the bowl. I used my hands to really mix well.

Step 3: 9x9 pan or what you feel fits your desired thickness. Line the pan with wax paper. Pour in your mixture. Press into place. 

Step 4: Freeze for 1 hour to solidify the mixture. (This is so you can easily cut the granola into the bar shapes.)

Step 5: Cut into bars and place on dehydrator trays. 105 degrees: Dehydrate 18-24 hours depending on thickness and desired texture:) You may want to flip over half way through, if you use paraflexx sheets.
